i have used my zalman reserator for about 1.5years now. just changed my whole cooling system to alphacool block. took the zalman block out and took out one of its compression fittings for my watercooling system......and i see...................

shxt! what the hell are those?  since i have got the zalman reserator, i have used:

tape water, then 100% car coolant, then tape water+coolcases uv dye and finally TT coolant

i wonder which of these liquids above are causing this kind of ugly substances.

i use a stick to take out some of those substances out....its full of that kind of stuff! anybody know what they are?

and also, anybody know how to open that block? i have tired my hardest to unscrew the block, but it just doesnt work!

maybe there's some chemisty reaction between the coolant and the dye...
but the TT coolant the the murder(I think)

Even added with moto-coolant is still not good.

PS: another good example of galvanic corrosion !

have you clean and throw the old coolant before using new?
